If they had a CA sign it, then they could try and revoke the cert, but we all know there are still flaws with CRL.

Also, maybe this was the only app using this cert… if it’s self signed, they are easy to remake. Either way, that’s too bad.

Yahoo included their cert private key inside the Axis Chrome extension.. (means anybody can sign extension as yahoo)..

I love this List of languages that compile to...

I love this List of languages that compile to JS.
1st...

Two ah-mazing tips I learned this weekend for OSX users.

1st Tip - Paintbrush… you’re welcome.
How did OSX never have an MS Paint clone? I had mad MS Paint skills. This weekend, I found myself wishing I was on Windows just for MS Paint. I wanted to do some simple 2D layouts for a new apartment, and I played with Google’s SketchUp. It’s a great tool, but was too slow or had too high a learning curve for getting me what I wanted NOW. I just needed MS Paints quick cropping, pasting, moving images around, and re-sizing.

2nd Tip - Screenshot straight to clipboard. Normally when I take a screenshot on my mac, I used good ol’ cmd+ shift + 4. It takes a screen shot and saves it to a file. But this time, I didn’t want to save it to a file, I really just wanted to copy it into my new favorite app PaintBrush! So just add control:
cmd + control + shift + 4
And instead of creating the file on your desktop, its saved onto your clipboard.

Ah-mazing… so weird how I feel so empowered with these little tips. I’m ready to conquer the world!

Happy May 4th everyone!

The problems were not that difficult, and pretty easy to compared to the Facebook Puzzles I’ve done a while back. But I was mad because my algo for problem A wasn’t working… and I could swear up and down it was correct. Well that turned out to be a mistake on Google’s part. My buddy and I submitted our solutions and waiting to hear back from Google. We didn’t make the original rules cut off, which was for the first 100 submitters… but we got this e-mail later in the day:

Hi bperez,

Thank you for taking the time to participate in the Code Jam Sprint to Google I/O today. It is great to see the effort you put into solving these problems. There was a mistake made in the expected output for problem A which negatively affected some of the contestants. We sincerely apologize for this.

As you know, we intended to provide an opportunity to buy Google I/O tickets to the top 100 scorers. In light of our mistake, we’ve decided instead to offer this opportunity to all participants who have submitted any solution to either of the two problems. Please watch your inbox for a registration code coming shortly.

Thanks again for your participation in this challenge and apologies for our error.

Cheers,

The Code Jam Team

So lets see how amazing my company is. Will they pay for my ticket or not? My old company did without blinking an eye, but I’ve only been here for about a year and still figuring things out. Even if they don’t pay I still might go.

You know what this is!
3 oz steak, grilled (about a deck of cards)
1 egg, over easy
1 slice bread with 1 1/3 tsp butter
1/2 cantaloupe

Instead of the 1/2 cantaloupe, I sub’ed with 1 block strawberries (About 5 of them) and 1 block spinach (1 1/3 cup).

And instead of butter, I used avocado (About 1/4 of an avocado).

Then I made a spinach, egg, avocado sandwich.

Jeremy Scott for Linda Farrow Sunglasses The USA Sunglasses in...

Jeremy Scott for Linda Farrow Sunglasses The USA Sunglasses in Black,Sunglasses for Unisex - Price: $208.00

All the zone meals can’t be winners. I’m not going to post the recipe for this meal since it subpar. To get the required blocks I have to eat two bowls… and one bowl was… well, it was one down, one to go. The whole pot is only 4 meals… it’s better to stick with meats and dark vegetables for the meals. Also using different types of foods to create the full block meals is more of the zone way.

1 meal down… 3 to go. Then we can try another meal next week.

Zombie Ass: The Toilet of the Dead is Most Danger Movie!
