I just bought Sleep Cycle Alarm for the iPhone. Its suppose to wake you after your sleep cycle is over, so you awake more refreshed. I heard about sleep cycles while listening to CrossFit Radio.
12:40 Darrell “Bingo” White talked about importance of sleep for CrossFit athletes. A medical doctor, Darrell said that quality of sleep can sometimes be more important than quantity. Sleep cycles generally last about 90 minutes and it’s important they not be interrupted. An example of a good plan might be someone who sleeps either 7.5 hours or 9 hours, but not 8.5 hours. Darrell gave suggestions on how to find the sleep cycle that’s right for you.
Last night I slept from 2:49am till about 7:45am… about 5 hours of sleep. But it was an awesome 5 hours! I’ll try it again tonight.
