Crossfit Games SoCal Sectional: Athlete Info
Just received some info about Sectionals coming up soon. The workouts will be announced on Wednesday, March 10th, 12:00pm on www.crossfitla.com. Later they will be posted at the official Crossfit Games website. Hmm… I wonder if I should look or not. I do better when I don’t know what’s coming. I like the unknown.

Researchers Say Women Secretly Desire Scruffy... →
Yes, I knew it! Ladies, ladies, ladies, scruffy RunGeek is in the Hizouse. From the article: Most women claim to be attracted to tall, dark and handsome men, but a new study has revealed that facial stubble and a geeky personality are their biggest secret turn-ons. Despite complaining that it looks unkempt and feels rough to touch, the unshaven look on a man is actually a turn-on for 41 per cent...

Google Chrome
Its been a while since I took a look at Google Chrome. The beta for the Mac is getting stable and now supports bookmark sync and extensions. Two huge wins! This is why I am trying it out again. General Stuff First off, its really, REALLY, fast. My javascript runs quick on GMail, Google Reader, even on non-Google heavy javascript pages. Bookmarks Sync is just nice. I have tried a few services...

Seven Signs You May Need a NoSQL Database →
You noticed a lot of your database fields are really serialized complex objects in disguise Using a standard query language has become too confining Your toolbox only contains a hammer You really feel like protesting something, but all the really cool causes are full up You stepped in a giant pile of impedance mismatch and need to wash off your shoes Maintaining a completely separate object...

Sell Virginity to Pay for Tuition
This week a 19-year old New Zealand student sold her virginity online to pay for her college tuition. She made $31,500 off the deal. There was also a 22-year old Sacramento State student who did the same thing. I was so inspired by these proud women that I also like to free myself from the fees and cost of school. So today I would like to official offer my virginity to pay for my Grad School!...

Whale Tagging
In my peer-2-peer networking class, we are comparing network data propagation to whale tagging. Bottle-sized radio tags can be injected into whales (by means of a crossbow) They shoot a whale with a crossbow that has an arrow the size of a freakn bottle. Imagine a large Aquafina sized bottle being shot into you! Thats way more badass than that gay “Whale Wars” show on discovery. ...

Committing E-Mail Suicide
I’m pretty far behind in my personal e-mails/facebook notifications/AIM/RSS… ect. So to catch up I’m committing e-mail suicide. I’m just deleting/ignoring everything in my inbox right now and will try to stay on top of things from now on. So if you sent me something, or posted something on my wall, or IMed me, and I haven’t gotten back to you… this means I...
