The Three Days Rule →
The Three Days Rule from How I Met Your Mother. Barney: You have to wait three days to call a woman, that’s the rule. Ted: Barney, that rule is completely played out; girls know exactly what you’re doing. Hey, I got a new rule, it’s kinda crazy, but I call it “you like her, you call her.” Barney: I’m sorry, could you repeat that? I don’t speak “I-never-get-laid.” Ted:...

Lets bring back Flash Mountain at Disneyland! →
Could ‘Flash Mountain’ return, in light of Disneyland job cuts?
Back in 1997, “Flash Mountain” became an Internet phenomenon with girls showing their boobs to the automatic camera on Disneyland’s Splash Mountain ride. Disney had to hire photo editors to stop the outbreak, but now those editors are gone due to job cuts. Ladies, get your tatas ready!

So I am guessing that PSD as a file format sucks huge giant hairy balls. I’m glad I didn’t have to code this. Check out the change log comment too =D

Sometimes the basic tricks work best:
Police say a man posing as a waiter collected $186 in cash from diners at two restaurants in New Jersey and walked out with the money in his pocket.
Diners described the bogus waiter as a spikey-haired 20-something wearing a dark blue or black button-down shirt, yellow tie and khaki pants.
Police say he approached two women dining at Hobson’s...

The painful truth about Running Shoes →
Good article talking about expensive running shoes. I still like to wear asics, however, I am going to buy a pair of Vibram Five Fingers for crossfit. Seems good for lifting and running.
Know Your Meme: Christian Bale Rant.

Google's App Engine Supports Java! →
… well kind of. Limited support but it still kicks ass! They also have a plugin for Eclipse (which is way better then Netbeans). Heres the link to get started.
Transparency: Drinking Water
Cool presentation without a voice over.
It’s the source of life but it’s also the cause of a lot of unnecessary death. In places where clean water isn’t available, water-related diseases like cholera cause massive diarrhea, dehydration, and thousands of deaths each day. Affordable water-treatment solutions exist. We’d like to see them flourish.

“Doom II” Skulltag →
What can I say, I love Doom! One thing is for sure, I’m not the only one. The fine folks at Skulltag love Doom as well.
This is an epic port of the original Doom and Doom II. It brings the classic first person shooter into the 21st century while maintaining the essence of what made Doom great for so many years. I highly recommend you check it out and get involved in a all-month-long LAN Party at...
Social Networking Identity Theft Scams
This is why you shouldn’t just accept random friend request. And why twitter is awesome =)
I’m going to tell you exactly how someone can trick you into thinking they’re your friend. Now, before you send me hate mail for revealing this deep, dark secret, let me assure you that the scammers, crooks, predators, stalkers and identity thieves are already aware of this trick. It...

Highlights are that he recommends to cancel the Transformational Satellite (TSAT) program and to reduce the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) budget. These are two programs that affect my area of work. =(
Other programs are that new helicopter for Obama, Multiple Kill Vehicle (MKV), and F-22 fighter (Raptor) are recommended to stop or be canceled.
Normally a war helps our economy, but in this war...

A recent study suggests that women talk up to... →
Seriously… we needed a study to tell us this?
The average woman says about 20,000 words a day.
The average man says about 7,000 words a day.
Women also speak more quickly, devote more brainpower to chit-chat - and actually get a buzz out of hearing their own voices, a new book suggests.
Men chat less than their female counterparts and struggle to express their emotions to the same...
Twitter, Facebook, YouTube at work make better... →
The University of Melbourne study showed that people who use the Internet for personal reasons at work are about 9 percent more productive that those who do not.
And THATS how I get so much work done! But I don’t surf more, I surf smarter. Tools like Twhirl and Seesmic keep Twitter and Facebook under control. And Google Reader is how I get my information to come to me.
