This week the IcedTea Project reached an important milestone - The latest OpenJDK binary included in Fedora 9 (x86 and x86_64) passes the rigorous Java Test Compatibility Kit (TCK). This means that it provides all the required Java APIs and behaves like any other Java SE 6 implementation.
From here the initial plans are to make OpenJDK part of Red Hat Enterprise Linux...

I just found this site. Its pretty cool, they show you video’s of how to use Adobe products. If you click on developers you can watch some great vids to help you get started with developing with adobe products like Flex or Flash.

Setting up Java path as a System Variable
Right Click on My Computer
Select “Properties”
Advance Tab
Environment Variables
In System variables Select the “Path” Variable.
Click Edit
In the Variable value add “C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_03\bin” or whatever version of the jdk you have. To add a variable make sure you separate each value with ‘;’ (semi-colon)
Restart your computer....
